Behind the madness….

A little about us.

Muddy Madness is all about slowing down, trying something new and enjoying the process along the way. From our pottery studio in Western Sydney, we bring people together through hands-on classes, workshops and a shared love of clay.

Whether it’s your first time getting your hands muddy or you’ve been creating for years, there’s always something new to try.

Where it all began….

It started with a simple idea.

Muddy Madness started from a simple idea — to create a place where people could slow down, get their hands dirty and enjoy making something of their own.

For me, pottery has always been about more than clay. It’s the patience of learning something new, the problem-solving when things don’t quite go to plan, the excitement when an idea starts taking shape and, most importantly, the people you meet along the way.

I wanted to create that same experience here in Western Sydney — somewhere complete beginners could feel just as comfortable as experienced makers, with plenty of room to learn, experiment and have a laugh along the way.

There’s still nothing quite like watching someone pull their first cylinder from the wheel or step back and realise, “I made that.” Those little moments are a big part of why Muddy Madness exists.

What started small has grown into a community filled with creativity, learning and plenty of muddy hands — and I’m so excited to see where it goes next.
